LAX People Mover
The LAX Automated People Mover (APM) is a recently opened transportation system at Los Angeles International Airport. It consists of a 2.25-mile elevated railway with six stations, offering convenient and efficient travel between terminals, parking areas, and other airport facilities.
HK designed a custom-built LED Bollard that combines durability, anti-corrosion properties, and aesthetics. The bollards have undergone rigorous stress tests and integrate seamlessly into the airport’s architecture. They provide beautiful functional lighting, enhancing passenger experience by guiding them safely and adding elegance to outdoor areas.
