Tokamachi Park
An international team of lighting professionals and students, led by the renowned landscape lighting artist Janet Moyer, installed 250 lights into the grounds of the Tokamachi Park as part of an ILLI (International Landscape Lighting Institute) intensive course.
Our founder Hiroshi Kira conceived the project with the intention of contributing something to his childhood home, and further demonstrated his commitment by donating all the fixtures required for its completion. Thanks to these efforts, the park has been revitalized, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy its scenery both day and night.

“We work with lighting designers to create a more dynamic effect, like a movement, like when the sun is going down there’s a certain effect, and a full moon will have a different effect, the effect becomes a major factor and that will contribute to the happiness of the people.”
